Do you ever feel just exhausted from the weight of owning our own business and carrying the burden of all that entails?
Do you ever feel just exhausted from the weight of owning our own business and carrying the burden of all that entails? Just me? This happens on a monthly basis (ladies, if you know what I mean) but also just some days hit harder than others. Like the responsibility to show up to my entire job falls solely on me. Just me. Solo me-o.
I still, to this day, get major decision fatigue about what to post here.
Honestly I feel like I am still working on mine… This is more than a catch phrase or tagline, this is what you stand for and what you are about as an artist and a person. What message you’re putting out there in the world.
Here are the questions I am asking myself…
Today didn’t go as planned, and honestly, I’m grateful…
But then it got me thinking about how I cling so tightly to the outcomes of things that look like success in the eyes of the world. Selling out a retreat in 24hrs (sometimes it happens, most of the time it doesn’t, booking every spot for a Motherhood Event (most of the time not every single seat gets sold and I end up trading or giving some away) or maybe it’s cricket engagement on a post that I thought was going to go viral…
what I do now instead…
How Confident Posing Transforms the Photography Experience
When you confidently tell a woman, “Tilt your chin this way—you’re going to love how this looks” or “Shift your weight here—it brings out your best lines” … you’re not just giving instructions. You’re giving her permission to feel beautiful.
That confidence radiates. She starts to relax. She trusts you. She feels seen and celebrated. And when she sees the final images? She doesn’t just think, “Wow, these are pretty.” She thinks, “Wow, I’ve never felt more like myself. I’ve never felt more like a queen.”
That is what keeps clients coming back. That is what builds a luxury brand.
